It's Draft O'Clock: Time to Panic (or Celebrate!)

                 Good Morning UND Fans, It's Monday June 30th. How did you spend your weekend? My weekend went tremendously awesome. Wishing you a wonderful day!  What is your favorite NHL team if you have one? My favorite NHL Team is Ottawa Senators. Today I am going to share about the NHL Draft. Some North Dakota players got chosen by NHL teams this weekend. They are the following: Cole Reschny, Sam Laurilla, Cooper Simpson, Carter Sanderson, Caleb Heil and Ashton Schultz. Laurilla, Simpson, Heil, Schultz are from MN. Reschny is from SK. Sanderson is from SD. Cole Reschny was chosen by CGY, in which he was picked in round 1. Sam Laurilla was picked by NYI in round 5. Cooper Simpson was chosen in round 3 by BOS. Carter Sanderson was the draft pick chosen by PITT in round 6. Caleb Heil was chosen by TBL, in which he was taken in round 7.           Good Afternoon and Welcome North Dakota Fans to From The Stands To The Spotlight!!! It's Sunday June 22nd, 2025. How was your weekend? My weekend started off crazy. My family's cabin lost power in the middle of night Friday into yesterday due to a big storm. I enjoyed my weekend at the the cabin despite the power outage.  I am going to talk about some UND T&F today. Fighting Hawk Track and Field had an awesome month of June. UND Fighting Hawk athlete Ethan Thomas showcased his exceptional talent at the U20 Championships, representing USA Track and Field. His outstanding performance secured him a remarkable 2nd place finish, highlighting his skill and potential within competition.   In a parallel achievement, UND's Kenna Curry from the women's track and field team continued her impressive streak by being chosen as the league's Women's Peak Performer of the month for June. THE ALL-AMERICAN ATHLETES ANTHEM

                 Good Morning North Dakota Fans, Happy Sunday June 15th. Happy Father's day to all the dads out there. How are you doing this morning? How is your weekend going so far? My morning has been going fantastic. I've had an awesome weekend as of the moment. Yesterday I took the day to celebrate 12 years since I had a Stroke. I am glad I am still here and sharing my love for UND Sports with you. I will be sharing about Fighting Hawks Track and Field today, I hope you enjoy reading this post.                  The Hawks achieved significant recognition during the Outdoor Track and Field season, with two athletes receiving All-American distinctions at the National Tournament. Kenna Curry was awarded 1st Team All-American honors, while Jadyn Keeler received 2nd Team All-American recognition. Congratulations to both Kenna Curry and Jadyn Keeler. I'm proud of them.    ...

THE TWO-SIDED LIFE: THE COUNTERBALANCE BETWEEN THE GAME AND SCHOOL AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE!!!

                   Good Afternoon Hawk Fans, It's Tuesday June 10th, 2025. We are almost half way through June. The month is going by super fast. Wow! I welcome you to read this post and comment about it. How is your day going? My day has been very fantastic!!! I am going to share how the UND athletes did in the classroom. I hope you enjoy my post. North Dakota had an awesome second half of the school year in the classroom. In the second term, the school achieved an impressive 3.440 Grade Point Average, marking an extraordinary milestone of 34 straight terms with a comprehensive athletic department Grade Point Average of 3.0 or better. This remarkable accomplishment was driven by the outstanding academic performance of the players, with 312 athletes earning a 3.0 or above and an exceptional 89 athletes achieving a perfect 4.0 Grade Point Average. A Game Of Skill, A Story Of Dreams And Fan Excitement is Brewing

 Good Afternoon Hawks Fans, Happy Wednesday June 4th. I'm having a fantastic day. Tell me how your day is going in the comments. I am going to share about some awesome things. I am not going to give you a sneek-peek in the 1st paragraph. I want to give you a hump day surprise. In UND Basketball, The League revealed dates for the Summit- Big Sky games against each other. The Summit League is hoping to win the challenge for the third year in a row. Both Hawk Men's women's teams will participate. Both teams will play the same opponents. One team plays a home game while the other competes in an away game.The men's team plays the U of I (12/3) and UM(12/6). The women's team goes against UM(12/3) and MSU(12/6). North Dakota football bolstered its roster with 6 transfer players, enhancing team depth and talent. While the incoming freshman class details remain pending, the transfer athletes should be fun to watch this upcoming season. I am super excited about it!!! ...
