Softball and Golf Ball Talk

 

        Happy Wednesday Evening!!! April 2, 2025. How are you doing today? I'm doing fantastic despite it has been snowing outside all day.  The games I am sharing about are from March 10, 2025, 

     The University of North Dakota softball team competed in a challenging doubleheader against West Georgia and Georgia State. In the first contest, UND prevailed with an 8-5 victory, with Katelyn Strauss recording her inaugural pitching win. The subsequent game concluded with a 3-2 defeat against Georgia State. This performance represents the team's second achievement of maintaining a winning record this season. The team is scheduled to travel to Cookeville, Tennessee, for a double header against Tennessee Tech on Tuesday, March 11.

    In Golf, the Men's team demonstrated strong performance at the Jackrabbit Invitational, securing a second-place finish with a team score of 885. Three student athletes placed in the top 10 individual rankings. The team is scheduled to compete in the Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate tournament in Litchfield Park, Arizona, from March 24-25.
