Morning Chitchat

     

            Good Morning UND Fighting Hawks, I hope you're having an awesome start to the day. I'm having a fantastic morning.  I'm  going to share about UND Softball's game against Wofford which took place on February 27th, 2025.

        On Thursday, February 27, 2025, the University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks softball team engaged in a competitive match against the Wofford Terriers.Wofford initiated scoring in the first inning, establishing a 1-0 lead.   UND responded in the fourth inning with runs by Brooklyn Morris and Taya Hopfauf, securing a 2-1 advantage

         UND responded in the fourth inning with runs by Brooklyn Morris and Taya Hopfauf hit home securing a 2-1 advantage.  In the seventh inning featured scoring from both teams. UND extended their lead to 3-1 before Wofford countered with two runs, resulting in a 3-3 game.

       

         In the 8th North Dakota comes back to score 4-3 North Dakota. Wofford then catches up to tie it 4-4.  The 9th inning was a Hawk show. UND scored three times to get the 7-4 victory.
