What A Victorious Saturday At The Ballpark

 

                Good Morning, University of North Dakota (UND) Softball Supporters, How are doing this morning? It's finally Saturday. It's also April 5, 2025. II am currently in the process of retroactively publishing content that was initially drafted in February, prior to the establishment of this blog platform.

                   On Saturday, March 15, 2025, the UND Fighting Hawks secured a 3-1 victory against Dartmouth College, improving their season record to 15-14. The team's offensive strategy commenced early, with Neumayer's single and Joten's walk initiating scoring in the first inning. Brooklyn Morris expanded the lead in the second inning, while Serna responded for Dartmouth. The decisive moment occurred in the seventh inning when Hannah Thompson secured the winning run.

               Game statistics highlighted UND's competitive performance: 3 runs, 6 hits, and 2 errors, compared to Dartmouth's 1 run, 4 hits, and 1 error. The Fighting Hawks will next compete in the Summit League opener against the University of South Dakota (USD) in Vermillion, South Dakota. The series is scheduled for March 22nd and 23rd, with Saturday games at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, and a Sunday game at 11:00 AM.
