                      Good Afternoon Hawk Fans, It's Wednesday May 28th. How is your day going? My day is going well. I've decided I want to do 2 parts for the Spring Sports Update. This blog is going to feature  Fighting Hawk Tennis and Softball. Part two will come out after Track and Field is done with their season. In men's tennis, the team demonstrated a commendable performance this season, achieving a record of 18 wins and 5 losses. The Fighting Hawks competed in the League Tournament final, ultimately falling to DU with a 4-0 score to end the season. The women's team also exhibited strong results, securing 14 victories and 8 defeats. In the league tournament semifinals, the Lady Hawks were defeated by DU, concluding the season with a 4-0 loss.  North Dakota Softball team experienced a notable season at Albrecht Field in spring 2025, achieving 26 wins, which represented an improvement from the previous...

I'm going to share something AWESOME with you today. For those of you that are Hawk Football Fans you're going to love this. I did a hockey one a while ago and thought I should a Football schedule post.  On Saturday, August 30th, UND plays at K-State. The next Saturday, September 6th, the Potato Bowl is against PSU at home. On Saturday, September 13th, the Hawks travel to play UM in MT. The following weekend, Valpo game is at home on September 20th, which is Homecoming. On October 4th, the Hawks head to play UNI. The following week, North Dakota comes home to play YSU on October 11th. On October 18th, UND plays at SIU. On October 25th, the Hawks play ISU at ISU. On November 1st, ND goes out to play USD. On November 8th, their in-state rivals NDSU come to play. On November 15th, UND travels to MSU. On N...

                 Good Afternoon UND Fans, It's finally Friday May 9th. I hope you had a phenomenal day. I have a Softball update for you. The update is game 2 of yesterday's double elimination games. The game lasted over 2 hours and 15 minutes. In front of 189 spectators, the Hawks scored first when UND got two consecutive points to take a 2-0 lead within the 2nd inning. Scoring returned in the 4th inning when the Hawks tripled to make it 5-0. The shutout didn't last much longer after that. South Dakota officially got on the board to make it 5-1. From there, USD scored 4 more runs to bring the game to the eighth inning.             Good Afternoon North Dakota Fans, It's Wednesday May 8th. I hope you're having a fantastic day. I have a Hawk Softball Post game for you today.  UNO initiated the game with a strong offensive performance, scoring two runs on a double. In the second inning, Taya Hopfauf contributed to the Hawks' scoring with a home run. The Mavericks extended their lead to 3-1 in the third inning and further increased their advantage to 4-1 in the fifth inning. During the sixth inning, Makenna Alexander scored, bringing the Hawks' total to 2 runs. Despite Alexander's effort, UND was unable to overcome UNO's lead and ultimately lost the game 4-2.                  Good Afternoon Fighting Hawk Fans, It's officially Wednesday May 7th. I hope you're having a wonderful day. I've got a pretty AWESOME update for you folks today. It's a UND vs The Bison game postseason edition post. What do all the people in this picture have on that matches?      The contest unfolded before an audience of 147 spectators. The Hawks initiated scoring in the first inning, securing 4 runs against the Bison and effectively preventing their opponents from establishing offensive momentum. During the second inning, UND advanced their lead by scoring an additional point, expanding their advantage to 5-0 over NDSU. The game began with UND securing an early 1-0 lead. SDSU subsequently equalized the score at 1-1 before taking a decisive lead in the fifth inning.                        Welcome, Welcome, Welcome and Good Evening Hawk Fans, I hope you had an AWESOME Friday(May 2). I enjoyed my day at the Softball game. I will be talking about the UND Softball game vs SDSU this evening. UND experienced a challenging doubleheader against the Jackrabbits, despite favorable weather conditions. In the first game, the Hawks suffered a significant defeat, with the Jackrabbits prevailing 13-4, resulting in the game concluding after five innings.
