                Good Afternoon Hawk Fans, It's Wednesday May 28th. How is your day going? My day is going well. I've decided I want to do 2 parts for the Spring Sports Update. This blog is going to feature  Fighting Hawk Tennis and Softball. Part two will come out after Track and Field is done with their season.

In men's tennis, the team demonstrated a commendable performance this season, achieving a record of 18 wins and 5 losses. The Fighting Hawks competed in the League Tournament final, ultimately falling to DU with a 4-0 score to end the season. The women's team also exhibited strong results, securing 14 victories and 8 defeats. In the league tournament semifinals, the Lady Hawks were defeated by DU, concluding the season with a 4-0 loss. 

North Dakota Softball team experienced a notable season at Albrecht Field in spring 2025, achieving 26 wins, which represented an improvement from the previous year's performance. The team concluded the season with an overall record of 26-30, facing competitive challenges in tournament play. In the League Tournament's double-elimination round, the Hawks were defeated by UNO 4-2 and subsequently eliminated by USD with a 6-5 score.
