Good Evening North Dakota Fans, Happy Monday September 9th. I hope this message finds you in high spirits and that your day has been filled with joy, success, and memorable moments. May the positive energy and wonderful experiences you've encountered today continue to uplift and inspire you throughout the evening and into the days ahead. The day has been absolutely incredible, filled with joyful and delightful moments. From the early morning sunshine to the productive and engaging activities that unfolded, every hour has been a testament to positivity and personal satisfaction. Each experience has been vibrant and memorable, leaving me with a sense of gratitude and excitement for the remainder of the day. I am going to share a UND Soccer and Volleyball update today.

The Fighting Hawk Soccer team faced a challenging week of competition, first encountering UC Santa Barbara (UCSB) on Thursday, September 4th. In a closely contested match, UND Soccer narrowly lost to UCSB (UC Santa Barbara) with a final score of 2-1. The team's difficulties continued into the following Sunday, September 7th, when they squared off against Iowa State (ISU). Unfortunately, the Hawks experienced another defeat, this time more decisively, as ISU (Iowa State) dominated the game with a 4-0 victory. These matches tested the team's resilience and provided valuable learning opportunities for the Fighting Hawks soccer program. UND's next game is at BSU (Boise State) on Thursday September 11th at 8pm.

UND Volleyball team encountered a demanding weekend of competition, facing significant challenges across three consecutive matches. On Thursday, September 4th, the Hawks engaged in an intense battle against West Virginia University (WVU), ultimately falling in a closely contested five-set match with a final score of 3-2. The following day, on Friday, September 5th, UND continued their challenging tournament, squaring off against Coppin State University (CSU). Unfortunately, the Hawks were unable to secure a victory, suffering a decisive 3-0 defeat. The weekend's struggles persisted on September 6th when the Fighting Hawks confronted Liberty University (LU). Once again, UND found themselves on the losing end, dropping the match 3-0 and concluding their weekend with three consecutive losses. These matches undoubtedly tested the team's resilience and provided valuable learning experiences for the UND Volleyball program. The Hawks return home to play UTSA (UT San Antonio) at 6pm. You can watch the game on Midco Sports Network or on the Summit League Network.
