I am going share about UND Volleyball and Football today.

      

  The UND Volleyball team demonstrated resilience and competitive spirit during their recent matches, showcasing the dynamic nature of collegiate athletics. In a challenging encounter on Thursday, October 9th, the team faced a formidable opponent in DU (Denver), ultimately succumbing to a straight-set defeat with a 3-0 score. Despite this initial setback, the UND volleyball squad displayed remarkable determination and mental fortitude in their subsequent game. They mounted an impressive comeback on Saturday October 11th against ORU (Oral Roberts University), securing a commanding 3-1 victory that highlighted their ability to rebound from adversity and maintain a competitive edge. This performance underscored the team's potential and their capacity to adapt and excel in the demanding landscape of collegiate volleyball competition. The team will play again Thursday October 16th at 7pm at UST (St. Thomas).

     






        The Fighting Hawks football team has experienced a significant rise in national rankings after the big win, securing an impressive ninth position in the prestigious Stats Perform Poll. This upward movement reflects the team's strong performance and growing reputation in collegiate football. Additionally, the Hawks have made substantial progress in the AFCA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, climbing to the eleventh spot. These rankings highlight the team's consistent improvement and competitive spirit in the current football season, demonstrating their potential and skill on the national stage.

     

       Malachi McNeal, a standout player for the UND Football team, has garnered significant recognition in collegiate athletics. The talented defensive player has been honored with the prestigious Stats Perform FCS National Defensive Player of the Week award, highlighting his exceptional performance and skill on the football field. This accolade underscores McNeal's outstanding contributions to the UND football program and his ability to make impactful plays that set him apart from his peers in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). He was also chosen as the Missouri Valley Football Conference's Defensive Player of the Week too. Congratulations to Malachi from From The Stands To The Spotlight!


        BJ Fleming, a talented Football Player for the Fighting Hawks, has also been recognized for his outstanding performance in the Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC). This week, he was awarded the prestigious Newcomer of the Week honor, highlighting his significant impact and potential as a rising star in the conference. Fleming's achievement demonstrates his skill, dedication, and promising future in collegiate football. Congratulations to BJ from From The Stands To The Spotlight

Touchdown Of Fun: The North Dakota Football Schedule

          Welcome, Welcome, Welcome and Good Afternoon Hawk Fans, I hope you're having a FANTASTIC day. It's Thursday May 15th. Wow! Summer is coming. I'm going to share something AWESOME with you today. For those of you that are Hawk Football Fans you're going to love this. I did a hockey one a while ago and thought I should a Football schedule post.  On Saturday, August 30th, UND plays at K-State. The next Saturday, September 6th, the Potato Bowl is against PSU at home. On Saturday, September 13th, the Hawks travel to play UM in MT. The following weekend, Valpo game is at home on September 20th, which is Homecoming. On October 4th, the Hawks head to play UNI. The following week, North Dakota comes home to play YSU on October 11th. On October 18th, UND plays at SIU. On October 25th, the Hawks play ISU at ISU. On November 1st, ND goes out to play USD.            Good Afternoon Fighting Hawk Fans, Happy Tuesday!!! It's officially July 15th. I hope your day went  fabulous and awesome. Hawk Football game times have officially landed safely from the Nest to the schedule. Which means I can share them with you. I can't wait for football. Which Hawks game are you most looking forward to watching in 2025? I hope you enjoy reading my post           The August 30th game against K-State will begin at 6:00pm. The September 6th game at home against PSU(Portland State)in Potato Bowl and Home Opener will start at 6:00 pm. The game @ UM of Montana on Saturday October 13th will be at 2:00pm The game against Valpo(Valparaiso)in a Homecoming and HOF game starting at 3:00pm on  September 20th.
