From The Court To The Crease: Your Ultimate Post-Game Round Up

Good Afternoon and Happy Monday November 17th Hawk Fans! I hope this Monday is treating you wonderfully, bringing you joy, productivity, and positive energy. May the day unfold with pleasant surprises, successful moments, and a sense of optimism that carries you through each hour with enthusiasm and grace. Wishing you a delightful and fulfilling start to your week, filled with opportunities for growth, happiness, and meaningful experiences. I am going to be talking about UND Volleyball, Hockey, Men's and Women's Basketball.

On Thursday, November 13th, the UND Volleyball team faced off against the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) in an intense match. The first set was a nail-biting battle, with UND narrowly winning 26-24. However, UNO quickly turned the tables, securing the next three sets with scores of 25-20, 25-21, and 25-19, ultimately defeating UND 3-1. Two days later, on Saturday, November 15th, the UND Fighting Hawks Volleyball team returned to the court to challenge the University of St. Thomas (UST). The match began with UST dominating the first set, winning 25-12. UND showed resilience in the second set, clinching a hard-fought victory with a score of 31-29. Despite this momentary success, UST proved too strong, winning the next two sets 25-18 and 25-15. The UND Volleyball team ultimately fell to UST with a final score of 3-1.

The University of North Dakota (UND) Men's Hockey team showcased their competitive spirit in a thrilling two-game series against Arizona State University (ASU). On Friday, November 14th, UND demonstrated their prowess by securing a decisive victory with a 5-2 win. The following day, Saturday, November 15th, the tables turned as ASU responded with their own impressive performance, clinching a 4-2 triumph. The series resulted in a split, highlighting the intense and closely contested nature of the matchup between these two collegiate hockey programs.

Over the weekend, the Fighting Hawks Basketball Teams had a single game each, showcasing their competitive spirit. The Men's Basketball team faced off against UC Riverside (UCR) in an intense matchup on Saturday, November 15th. Simultaneously, the Women's Basketball Team competed against Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) in a challenging game. Despite their best efforts, the Fighting Hawks Women's Basketball Team experienced a tough loss, with the final score score at 57-46, highlighting the competitive nature of collegiate basketball and the team's determination to improve.
