Today's Edition of the UND Player Feature includes Fighting Hawk Football's Caleb Olson and UND Men's Basketball's Eli King.

Caleb Olson emerges as a remarkable athlete in collegiate football, representing the Fighting Hawks with exceptional dedication and skill. His journey in football is marked by significant achievements and challenges, showcasing his resilience and passion for the sport. As a junior player wearing jersey number 51 in the Offensive Line position, Olson hails from Fort Ransom, North Dakota, bringing hometown pride to his athletic endeavors. While pursuing a Master's Degree in Kinesiology, he has demonstrated remarkable athletic prowess that extends beyond traditional academic boundaries. During his redshirt freshman season, Olson proved himself as a valuable reserve offensive lineman, making critical contributions to special teams and helping the Hawks achieve an impressive offensive performance of over 450 yards across three games. His sophomore year saw him excel as a right guard, continuing to showcase his strategic blocking techniques and team-oriented approach. Despite facing a significant setback during his senior year when an injury sustained in a game against Kansas State interrupted his playing time, Olson's collegiate football career remains a testament to his athletic skill, determination, and commitment to the sport.

Eli King is a dedicated senior guard for the Fighting Hawks Men's Basketball team, donning the jersey number 2 with pride. Hailing from the small town of Caledonia, Minnesota, King has established himself as a reliable player throughout his collegiate basketball career. Pursuing a degree in Marketing, he balances his academic pursuits with his passion for basketball. Over the course of his time with the team, King has demonstrated remarkable consistency, appearing in an impressive 65 games and accumulating 1,801 minutes of playing time. His average of 27.7 minutes per game showcases his endurance and importance to the team's strategy. As a versatile player, King has also proven his skills on the court, averaging 4.8 rebounds per game and amassing an impressive 535 points throughout his collegiate basketball journey. His commitment to both athletics and academics makes him a standout athlete at the University of North Dakota.
