Championship Season Is Here Folks: This Week's Hockey Poll Results and The Hockey Conference Tournament Bracket With My Picks!

         Good Morning Happy Wednesday March 4th, 2026 North Dakota Fans! I hope this Wednesday brings you boundless joy, excitement, and wonderful moments that make your day truly extraordinary. May the hours unfold with unexpected delights, positive energy, and opportunities for happiness and success. Wishing you a fantabulous day filled with warmth, laughter, and memorable experiences that brighten your spirit and bring a smile to you. Today I am talking about UND Hockey.




        The UND Hockey team has secured an impressive standing in national rankings following their recent performance against Western Michigan (WMU). After a compelling series that included a decisive 5-3 victory and a closely contested 4-3 overtime loss, the team has demonstrated significant skill and competitiveness. Their strong showing has been recognized by prominent collegiate hockey polls, with UND ranking second in the USA Hockey/AHCA Poll and third in the USCHO.com Poll.  


        The Frozen Faceoff is being held at home sites this year. Here is the bracket and my bracket picks:


Quarterfinal 1: UND vs. Omaha. I pick UND 2-0 in Best of 3


Quarterfinal 2: St. Cloud State vs. Minnesota Duluth. I pick St. Cloud State 2-1 in Best of 3 series.


Quarterfinal 3: Colorado College vs. Western Michigan. I pick Western Michigan 2-0 in Best of 3 series. 


Quarterfinal 4: Miami vs. Denver. I pick Denver 2-0 in the Best of 3 Series. 


Semifinal 1: UND vs. St. Cloud State. I pick UND 4-0.


Semifinal 2: Western Michigan vs. Denver. I pick Western Michigan 4-0.


Championship Game: UND vs. Western Michigan. I pick UND 4-3 as Frozen Faceoff Champions.

    The first round of the NCHC tourney is a best of 3 and if the Broncos put up 6 on Emberko, well then they're gonna win another natty this year. I dont see SCSU shutting out Duluth that badly, probably gonna go to 3 games.

Touchdown Of Fun: The North Dakota Football Schedule

          Welcome, Welcome, Welcome and Good Afternoon Hawk Fans, I hope you're having a FANTASTIC day. It's Thursday May 15th. Wow! Summer is coming. I'm going to share something AWESOME with you today. For those of you that are Hawk Football Fans you're going to love this. I did a hockey one a while ago and thought I should a Football schedule post.  On Saturday, August 30th, UND plays at K-State. The next Saturday, September 6th, the Potato Bowl is against PSU at home. On Saturday, September 13th, the Hawks travel to play UM in MT. The following weekend, Valpo game is at home on September 20th, which is Homecoming. On October 4th, the Hawks head to play UNI. The following week, North Dakota comes home to play YSU on October 11th. On October 18th, UND plays at SIU. On October 25th, the Hawks play ISU at ISU. On November 1st, ND goes out to play USD.            Good Afternoon Fighting Hawk Fans, Happy Tuesday!!! It's officially July 15th. I hope your day went  fabulous and awesome. Hawk Football game times have officially landed safely from the Nest to the schedule. Which means I can share them with you. I can't wait for football. Which Hawks game are you most looking forward to watching in 2025? I hope you enjoy reading my post           The August 30th game against K-State will begin at 6:00pm. The September 6th game at home against PSU(Portland State)in Potato Bowl and Home Opener will start at 6:00 pm. The game @ UM of Montana on Saturday October 13th will be at 2:00pm The game against Valpo(Valparaiso)in a Homecoming and HOF game starting at 3:00pm on  September 20th.
