The Fastpitch Frenzy: The Softball Team's Week In Review!

Good Afternoon and Happy Saturday March 21st, 2026 Hawk Fans! I hope your Saturday has been an extraordinary day filled with boundless energy, pure excitement, and unforgettable moments. May each passing second bring you more joy, relaxation, and incredible experiences that make this day truly remarkable. From thrilling adventures to peaceful interludes, I wish you a Saturday that continues to sparkle with legendary vibes and happiness, creating memories that will linger long after the day has ended.  Today I am going talk about some North Dakota Softball!

The Fighting Hawks Softball team engaged in a challenging midweek matchup against the University of Washington Huskies on March 18, 2026. The game proved difficult for the Hawks, who were decisively defeated with a score of 8-0, highlighting the competitive nature of collegiate softball. Later in the week, on Friday, March 20, 2026, the University of North Dakota Softball team participated in an intense double-header against Portland State University (PSU). The first game was a tightly contested battle that ultimately resulted in a 1-0 loss for UND against the Vikings. However, the team demonstrated remarkable resilience in the second game, rallying together and securing a hard-fought 3-2 victory. This win allowed the Kelly Green and White to conclude their week on a positive note. The Softball team will now play at Albrecht Field for the first time this spring on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, against DSU (Dakota State) in a double-header.
