        There's finally some awesome Football news! Nate DeMontagnac, a Wide Receiver who spent five remarkable years playing for the Fighting Hawks Football team from 2021 to 2025, has achieved a significant milestone in his athletic career. He was tabbed as the 7th overall pick in the prestigious Canadian Football League (CFL) Draft by the BC (British Columbia) Lions, marking a notable transition from collegiate to professional football. This draft selection represents a major accomplishment for DeMontagnac, highlighting his exceptional skills and potential in the competitive world of professional football.         Zach Lewis, a former UND Football player, has been extended an invitation to attend the Minnesota Vikings' rookie mini-camp. Lewis, who previously played safety for UND after transferring from Northern Arizona University (NAU), is now poised to take a significant step in his professional football career. This opportunity with the Vikings represents a potential breakthrough for the talented defensive back, offering him a chance to showcase his skills and compete at the highest level of professional football.         The Fighting Hawks Men's Tennis Team showcased their exceptional skills during the Summit League Tennis Tournament, delivering a remarkable performance in the Semifinals against the ORU (Oral Roberts) Golden Eagles. On Friday, April 24th, 2026, the Hawks demonstrated their talent by securing a decisive 4-1 victory, which propelled them to the League Championship match. However, their championship aspirations were ultimately thwarted on Saturday, April 25th, 2026, when they were defeated by the DU (Denver) Pioneers with a score of 4-0, bringing their season to a close. Simultaneously, the UND Women's Tennis team exhibited remarkable determination in their Semifinal match against the UNO (Omaha) Mavericks. On the same day as the men's Semifinals, Friday, April 24th, 2026, the women's team narrowly triumphed with a thrilling 4-3 victory, securing their spot in the Championship Match. Unfortunately, their journey concluded on Saturday, April 25th, 2026, when they faced the DU (Denver) Pioneers and were defeated 4-0, marking the end of their competitive season.

Touchdown Of Fun: The North Dakota Football Schedule

          Welcome, Welcome, Welcome and Good Afternoon Hawk Fans, I hope you're having a FANTASTIC day. It's Thursday May 15th. Wow! Summer is coming. I'm going to share something AWESOME with you today. For those of you that are Hawk Football Fans you're going to love this. I did a hockey one a while ago and thought I should a Football schedule post.  On Saturday, August 30th, UND plays at K-State. The next Saturday, September 6th, the Potato Bowl is against PSU at home. On Saturday, September 13th, the Hawks travel to play UM in MT. The following weekend, Valpo game is at home on September 20th, which is Homecoming. On October 4th, the Hawks head to play UNI. The following week, North Dakota comes home to play YSU on October 11th. On October 18th, UND plays at SIU. On October 25th, the Hawks play ISU at ISU. On November 1st, ND goes out to play USD.            Good Afternoon Fighting Hawk Fans, Happy Tuesday!!! It's officially July 15th. I hope your day went  fabulous and awesome. Hawk Football game times have officially landed safely from the Nest to the schedule. Which means I can share them with you. I can't wait for football. Which Hawks game are you most looking forward to watching in 2025? I hope you enjoy reading my post           The August 30th game against K-State will begin at 6:00pm. The September 6th game at home against PSU(Portland State)in Potato Bowl and Home Opener will start at 6:00 pm. The game @ UM of Montana on Saturday October 13th will be at 2:00pm The game against Valpo(Valparaiso)in a Homecoming and HOF game starting at 3:00pm on  September 20th.
