The Spectacular UND Football Huddle: The Preseason Recognition and Conference Poll!

         Good Morning and Happy Wednesday July 15th, 2026 Fighting Hawk Fans! I sincerely and genuinely hope with all my heart that you have an absolutely spectacular Hump Day today, and that it brings you tremendous joy, deep fulfillment, and lasting happiness! I also genuinely, deeply,  hope that your entire day is completely filled with positivity, great energy, incredible vibes, and amazing moments that make the middle of your week truly special, memorable, and unforgettable in the very best way possible, ultimately leaving you feeling energized, inspired, motivated, and ready to tackle the rest of your week with enthusiasm and optimism! Today I will be talking about UND Football.


        UND Football has recently achieved the distinction of having 3 student athletes receive the prestigious Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-America Recognition. Lance Rucker was selected and honored to the highly competitive 1st team, representing exceptional performance and potential. Liam Becher received the 2nd team honor, which is a significant achievement and recognition of his skills and dedication. Kaden Vig also was recognized and acknowledged with 2nd Team honors, demonstrating his commitment to excellence and contribution to the team.


The Missouri Valley Football Conference has officially released its comprehensive preseason poll for the upcoming 2026 season. The Fighting Hawks football squad has been projected to finish the 2026 season in 4th place within the conference standings. And also, an impressive eleven Fighting Hawks players got put on the prestigious 2026 Missouri Valley Football Conference Preseason Watch List. Of the eleven Football Players that were selected were: Lance Rucker, Mason South, Grant Noland, Kaden Vig, Liam Becher, Jerry Kaminski, Luke Silvernale, Deng Deng, Trace Thaden, Ben Buxa, and Micheal Devereaux, each bringing their own unique talents and potential to the roster.
