North Dakota Soccer Battles Minnesota Soccer In A Border Showdown But Fall Short.

         Good Afternoon and Happy Friday August 14th, 2026 UND Fans! I hope you're having an awesome Friday afternoon so far! Grab your favorite drink, get comfortable, and settle in for some Fighting Hawks Soccer excitement. Sit back, relax and enjoy reading all about UND Soccer's matchup against Minnesota! Let's kick things off!


        When Fighting Hawks Soccer and Gophers Soccer came together for a match in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Thursday, August 13th, 2026, the game unfolded with notable intensity. Throughout the first half, UM managed to score 2 goals while simultaneously keeping UND scoreless at 2-0. These initial goals were contributed by Kate Childers and Davy Mokelke. As the second half progressed, the Gophers went on to score 2 additional goals, both of which were netted by Katie Krohn, while the Hawks continued to struggle and still couldn't manage to get on the scoreboard, bringing the score to 4-0 UM. Ultimately, UND found themselves defeated by UM with a final score of 4-0.
