The Verdict Is In: North Dakota Football Recognition and Poll Results Revealed!








         Good Evening and Happy Tuesday August 4th, 2025 Hawk Fans! I truly that you have had an absolutely wonderful day brimming with genuine joy and authentic positivity. Given that the momentum throughout our entire community is consistently building and strengthening with each passing moment, furthermore, as the enthusiasm is progressively escalating and becoming more vibrant, this is genuinely the ideal time for us to dive ourselves fully into some compelling and stimulating UND Football Talk right now!


        Fighting Hawk Football has successfully landed a solid four players on the prestigious Phil Steele Preseason All-American Team. Lance Rucker earned himself First Team Recognition, which is quite an impressive achievement. Meanwhile, Kaden Vig and Liam Becher both made it onto the 2nd Team, showing real promise for the season ahead. And rounding out the honors, Luke Silvernale received Third Team Recognition, adding to the program's overall depth of talent.


        North Dakota Football starts the season ranked in the top 10 of the Stats Perform Poll. The team claims the number 10 spot in the Stats Perform Poll. The Fighting Hawks kick off their season at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, North Dakota. They face the LIU Sharks from Long Island University. The matchup will occur on Thursday, August 27, 2026.
