        Good Morning and Happy Tuesday September 15th, 2026 Hawk Fans! I sincerely hope that your day ahead turns out to be absolutely phenomenal and incredibly productive in every way! As we move forward together today, we're bringing tremendous energy and enthusiasm as we dive into discussions about UND Soccer, Hawk Volleyball! Let's take this opportunity to celebrate the amazing teams, the dedicated athletes, and all of the wonderful excitement and momentum that is happening across Fighting Hawks Sports!


        UND Soccer had just one game on the schedule this week. On Sunday, September 13th, 2026, the UND squad squared up against FAU (Florida Atlantic) Owls at Bronson Field in Grand Forks, North Dakota. For the duration of the opening half of play, both squads maintained a scoreless tie with neither able to penetrate the opposing defense. After the second half got underway, the Fighting Hawks seized complete control of the game. The UND offense was strengthened by impressive scoring contributions from both Cora Ellermann and Hunter Borgel, who each added to the team's offensive performance at 2-0. Eventually, UND Soccer defeated the Owls 2-0.


        In Riverside, California, the North Dakota Volleyball squad participated in three back-to-back matches throughout the weekend. First, the Hawks opened their competition against CBU (Cal Baptist) on Thursday, September 10th, 2026, where they managed to overcome the Lancers with a decisive 3-2 victory. Subsequently, on Friday, September 11th, 2026, UND then squared off against IU (Idaho), though unfortunately they suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of the Vandals. Furthermore, later that same evening on September 11th, 2026, the Fighting Hawks went on to face SHU (Sacred Heart) and impressively claimed a hard-fought 3-2 win against the Pioneers.
