        Good Afternoon and Happy Wednesday September 16th, 2026 UND Fans! What an amazing wish I have for you today—I truly hope you're experiencing an absolutely incredible and awesome Hump Day! Now then, Fighting Hawks fans, prepare yourselves because today we're shifting our complete attention and turning the spotlight directly towards UND Football! Furthermore, let's dive into a meaningful conversation about Hawks Football and explore everything that's currently happening around North Dakota Football. So come on, let's get fired up together and enthusiastically Go Hawks!


        In the aftermath of an impressive and dominant 47-23 Win over Portland State, the UND Football team has managed to maintain its standing within the top 10 of the rankings. This week, the Hawks have successfully retained their prestigious number 6 position from the last week's rankings in the Stats Perform Poll. Additionally, UND has made considerable progress in the polls and has climbed upward to achieve a number 6 ranking in the AFCA Coaches' Poll as well.


        And additionally, subsequent to that remarkable 47-23 win over PSU, a Fighting Hawks football player received some thoroughly merited acknowledgment from the MVFC. UND Football Running Back Charles Langama has been honored with the MVFC Special Teams Player of the Week award. This accomplishment represents Langama's 2nd consecutive MVFC Special Teams Player of the Week award, which genuinely demonstrates his unwavering brilliance and commitment throughout competition on the football field. Congratulations, Charles Langama, on receiving the MVFC Special Teams Player of the Week award. From The Stands To The Spotlight is super proud of you!
